Notes: I acquired my 16103 Datejust in April of 2006 as a birthday present from my wife, who had wanted me to have a matching Datejust to the 69173 ladies Datejust I had purchased for her last year as a wedding gift. The Datejust is part of Rolex’s Oyster Precision line of watches, and makes an ideal dress watch, yet is every bit as robust as many of the models in the sportier Oyster Professional line. Most experts agree that the Datejust is Rolex’s best selling watch line, and there is no shortage of supply of these models in the secondary market. Prices for vintage models, especially pre-sapphire crystal models represent an incredible value.
